How is my data stored?

Your photos and generated images are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user photo libraries or generation histories on our servers.

When does any data leave my device?

Your photo is sent only when you tap Generate. It is processed by our backend and a third-party AI service provider solely to restore, colorize, or upscale your photo and is discarded immediately after processing.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete generated images and history directly in the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Do you store or sell my photos?

No. We do not sell, share, or retain your photos. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or AI training.

How do I get the best results?

For best photo restoration results:

  • Use a clear scan or photo of the original image
  • Avoid blurry or heavily cropped source photos
  • Ensure even lighting when photographing printed photos

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. To manage or cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your Apple ID
  3. Go to Subscriptions
  4. Select BringBack

I purchased a subscription but generation is locked

Please try:

  1. Restarting the app
  2. Ensuring you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for purchase
  3. Using "Restore Purchases" if available
